Hi, my name is Lana, and I have always loved old houses. When my husband and I started shopping for a house, we looked at dozens of old houses. However, I couldn't afford to pay an inspector to look at every house. Because of that, I needed to develop a keen eye for potential risks and issues. In particular, I looked at the electrics of every home. I wanted to be able to assess how safe it was, whether or not rewiring would ever become necessary and more. In these blog posts, I am going to show you how to do visual checks of electrics in homes so that you can see whether or not your home is safe.
